I printed out the image, in color, on White Daisy cardstock (I cut down my 12" x 12" sheet to be 8.5" x 11" to fit in the printer).
I trimmed the printout and adhered it to Honey cardstock. The overall card base was Pear cardstock, cut to be a tall and skinny 3.5" x 6" card. I rounded ALL of the corners (even my card edges) on the cardstock with my corner rounder, and sponged Pear ink around the outside edges of the cardstock. To give it some sparkle, I added a piece of Teal Shimmer Trim to the side of the Honey cardstock.
Then I added this adorable little banner which just screams party! Using papers from the Skylark Paper Packet, I cut strips of 1" x 0.5" paper, folded them in half, and then dove-tailed each one to give it a cute little banner edge. I cut a piece of hemp string, folded each banner over the string, and attached with glue dots.

Okay, at this point you might be wondering why my print-out looks different from the one shown. Well, I couldn't leave well enough alone, so I added a couple of interesting details. First, I drew some little teardrops to look like "drips" from the popsicle. Then, I got out one of my favorite products, Liquid Glass! See the shine on the "You're Invited" sentiment and the popsicle drips? I traced over the sentiment, and drips with Liquid Glass to give that 3-D, shiny look.
Here is a quick shot of the inside of the card, utilizing the other half of the image download. All I did here was mount it onto some Honey cardstock and add a piece of Teal Shimmer Trim. If I wanted to make it even fancier, I could have extended that adorable banner across the inside of the card as well.
There you have it. A simple card with the main portion already done for me! Go and grab your FREE download before it's gone.
I'll see you in the craft room,
