"Life" Card and CTMH Convention 2014!

"Life. Enjoy It." Such meaningful words from such a simple, little statement. I love this stamp set (this sentiment plus another two), with their down-to-earth sayings. This is one of a few CTMH sets that is reserved for Hostesses, so you won't find a link to the set at the bottom of the post.

You can, however, earn your own set by hosting an online or in-person party. Please email me for details.

This card was made with the following colors of papers and inks: Blush, Cotton Candy, Pear, Sweet Leaf, Creme Brulee, and White Daisy.

Two embossed designs were used for the background papers; a Chevron Embossing Folder, and a cute little flower folder that came with my Cuttlebug machine.

The scalloped circles were cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. Three Pink Glitter Gems were added to the holes in the scallop and a piece of Baker's Twine in Creme Brulee color was tied around the circle. Cute! I love the bright colors of this card, inspired by the Color Dare Challenge #99, found HERE. The overall design for this card was inspired by Retro Sketches #120, found HERE.

And speaking of enjoying life, I am off to the CTMH Convention today...

The annual Close To My Heart Convention will be held in Anaheim, CA for the next three days! This is THE event of the year for consultants, and I am very excited to be a part of the excitement!

Today I will be heading up to Anaheim for some Close To My Heart team meetings before all of the adventure begins tomorrow. For the next three days, I will be posting pictures of the creative artwork that I come across at convention. You WON'T want to miss this! Not only will you get some great inspiration from the artwork, but you will also get a sneak peak at the new papers, colors, and products that will be available in the new 2014/2015 catalog this August! This includes artwork from the brand new Cricut cartridge! Did you catch that? CTMH will have a NEW CRICUT BUNDLE!

I was considering scheduling a post for Flashback Friday this week, but have decided to put FF on hold, since you won't want to miss out on artwork pictures. To catch all of the up-to-the minute excitement and pictures, please follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram, here:

I'll see you in the craft room,

    1. Thank you Becca, I'll try! It's funny you should mention the glitter gems... a tiny piece of paper stuck to my Cricut blade while it was cutting out those holes in the scallop. Those three circles under the glitter gems did not cut, so I covered them with the gems!
